This page explains which cookies noregna.no uses, what they do, and how you can control them. The use of cookies is regulated by the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act, and the processing of personal data by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Among other things, they are used to maintain your session as you move between pages, and to remember choices you have made.

We only use strictly necessary cookies

Noregna uses no cookies for analytics, statistics, profiling or marketing. We do not have Google Analytics or any equivalent tool on the website, and we do not track you across sites.

The website sets two cookies, and both are necessary for the pages to work:

laravel_session: Maintains your session while you are on the site and remembers your language choice. Duration: 2 hours.
XSRF-TOKEN: A security mechanism that protects the forms against forged requests from other websites. Duration: 2 hours.

Because these are strictly necessary to deliver the service you have asked for, they do not require consent. That is also why we do not show a consent banner.

Third-party content

Some pages load content from other services. These may set their own cookies or receive your IP address, under their own terms:

Google reCAPTCHA: On pages with a contact form, to prevent automated spam.
Google Maps: Only on the Contact us page, where the map is shown.
Google Fonts: Typefaces loaded from Google servers.
jsDelivr, Cloudflare and unpkg: Serve scripts and stylesheets used by the website.
Brønnøysund Register Centre: Only when you use the company search in the contact form. Your search term is then sent to the open API of the Norwegian Central Coordinating Register.

How to control cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the forms on the website will stop working and your language choice will not be remembered.
